About the Role
Zachary Daniels is recruiting for a Women's Knitwear Designer in Liverpool, Merseyside, on a permanent basis. Joining a fast-paced, collaborative design team, you'll combine your passion for fashion with specialist knitwear knowledge to create commercially focused womenswear. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to collections that balance trend appeal with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design women's knitwear with a strong focus on commercial appeal and wearability.
- Research fashion trends, colours, yarns and stitch techniques to inform new designs.
- Develop concepts into clear design specifications to support product development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to build cohesive, customer-focused knitwear ranges.
- Review samples and refine designs, considering fit, construction and finish.
- Manage design priorities to meet seasonal deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Need
- Experience designing women's knitwear, supported by a portfolio demonstrating your creative and commercial approach.
- Strong technical knowledge of knitwear, including yarns, stitches and garment construction.
- A genuine passion for fashion and an understanding of womenswear trends.
- The ability to translate creative ideas into products with clear customer appeal.
- A collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
