This policy explains how Jobjule (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use jobjule.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

• Usage data. Basic technical information such as pages viewed and searches run, used to operate and improve the site.
• Device & connection data. Information such as browser type and a salted, non-reversible hash of your IP address. We do not store raw IP addresses.
• Information you give us. If you contact us or subscribe to job alerts, the details you provide such as your name and email address.

How we use it

• To provide, secure and improve the job search service.
• To measure how the site is used, where you have consented to non-essential cookies.
• To respond to your enquiries.

Job alerts

If you subscribe to job alerts, we store your email address and your role interests so we can email you about relevant new jobs. We only do this with your explicit consent, recorded at sign-up, and you can unsubscribe from any email or by emailing privacy@jobjule.com. We will never sell your address.

Lawful basis

We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and on your consent for any non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing your data

When you click through to apply for a role, you are taken to a third-party advertiser or aggregator, who will handle your data under their own policy. We may share limited, non-identifying click information with these partners to attribute referrals. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights
