About the Role
Network Plus is seeking a Head of HSEQ Performance and Compliance for a permanent role in Manchester, Greater Manchester. Reporting directly to the HSEQ Director, you will lead a strategic function driving operational excellence through robust health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) performance management, regulatory compliance, assurance and governance. You will provide leadership to specialist teams covering performance reporting, compliance monitoring, health surveillance administration, subcontractor compliance and assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HSEQ performance and compliance function, setting clear priorities and supporting specialist teams.
- Oversee HSEQ performance reporting, using findings to identify risks and inform improvements.
- Drive regulatory compliance monitoring and maintain effective governance arrangements.
- Provide oversight of health surveillance administration and associated compliance processes.
- Oversee subcontractor compliance monitoring and support consistent HSEQ standards.
- Lead assurance activities and provide the HSEQ Director with clear insight into performance, compliance and areas requiring action.
What You'll Need
- Senior leadership experience in HSEQ performance, compliance, assurance or governance.
- A strong understanding of HSEQ regulatory requirements and how to translate them into practical controls.
- The ability to lead specialist teams and coordinate work across multiple areas of responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using performance reporting to guide decisions and improvement.
- An understanding of subcontractor compliance and health surveillance administration requirements.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders on risk, compliance and operational performance.
