About the Role
First Choice Selection Services Ltd is recruiting a General Production Operative for Oakfield Cabinets, an established manufacturing company in Antrim, County Antrim. This is initially a temporary contract, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position following successful completion of 16 weeks. You will support day-to-day production activities, working Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading kitchen and bedroom furniture products and components.
- Support general production tasks as directed by the manufacturing team.
- Handle materials and finished products carefully to help prevent damage.
- Keep your work area clean, tidy and organised.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.
What You'll Need
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.
- A willingness to carry out practical production work, including loading and unloading duties.
- A reliable approach to attendance and timekeeping.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Care and attention when handling products, with a commitment to safe working practices.

- Starting pay of £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.44 per hour once permanent.
