About the Role
Taylor Higson is recruiting experienced Finishing Supervisors for a successful and growing manufacturing business in Ossett, West Yorkshire. Following a significant new contract win, the business is expanding its finishing and packing operation. This permanent role offers a hands-on opportunity to lead Packing Operatives and Team Leaders and support the smooth running of production.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day activities within the finishing and packing operation.
- Lead and support Packing Operatives and Team Leaders, providing clear direction throughout the shift.
- Coordinate workloads and team priorities to help meet production schedules.
- Monitor the quality of finished and packed products, addressing issues promptly.
- Promote safe working practices and an organised working environment.
- Take a hands-on approach to resolving operational issues and supporting the team.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience supervising a finishing operation, ideally within print manufacturing.
- The ability to lead production teams and communicate expectations clearly.
- A practical, hands-on approach to supporting day-to-day operations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing production priorities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safe working practices.
What's on Offer
- Salary of £30,000, dependent on experience.
- A permanent position based in Ossett, West Yorkshire.
- 38.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
