About the Role
Blue Arrow - Liverpool is recruiting a small team of part-time Catering Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in and around Wirral. This role offers shifts during school hours, between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday. You should be available for four hours a day on at least three days each week, preferably five.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the catering team with day-to-day school meal preparation and service.
- Assist with basic food preparation and setting up serving areas.
- Serve meals to pupils and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Keep kitchen, serving and dining areas clean and tidy.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures and school site requirements.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience working in catering.
- Availability to work between 10am and 2pm on at least three weekdays, preferably five.
- The ability to travel to local schools in and around Wirral.
- A reliable, flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
- An understanding of good food hygiene and safe working practices.
