About the Role
Network Plus is recruiting a Water Agent for a permanent role based in Preston, Lancashire, supporting infrastructure projects across the North West. Working as a Site Agent on the existing clean water network for United Utilities, you will manage the resources needed to deliver a range of schemes. You will provide operational leadership to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the client’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and supervise operational teams delivering clean water infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate supply chain partners and allocate resources to support effective project delivery.
- Oversee site activities, keeping health and safety central to day-to-day operations.
- Monitor progress against project programmes and budgets, addressing issues that could affect delivery.
- Maintain standards of workmanship and ensure completed work meets client expectations.
- Communicate with teams, partners and client representatives to keep delivery coordinated.
What You'll Need
- Relevant experience in site supervision or management within water infrastructure or a related engineering environment.
- An understanding of clean water network works and the practical demands of infrastructure delivery.
- The ability to lead operational teams and coordinate supply chain partners.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with an awareness of resource allocation, budgets and project timescales.
- A safety-focused approach and a commitment to maintaining quality standards on site.
- Clear communication and practical problem-solving skills.
