About the Role
Network Plus is recruiting a Water Agent for a permanent role based in Manchester, supporting infrastructure projects across the North West. Working on the existing clean water network for United Utilities, you will manage the resources needed to deliver a range of schemes. You will provide operational leadership to site teams and supply chain partners, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the client’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and supervise operational teams delivering clean water infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate resources and supply chain partners to support effective project delivery.
- Lead safe working practices and maintain a strong focus on health and safety across site activities.
- Monitor progress against project programmes and budgets, addressing issues that could affect delivery.
- Maintain clear communication with teams, partners and the client to align work with project requirements.
- Oversee the quality of completed work to ensure it meets the client’s expectations.
What You'll Need
- Relevant experience in site supervision or operational management within water, utilities or infrastructure projects.
- An understanding of clean water network works and the challenges of working on existing infrastructure.
- The ability to lead operational teams and coordinate supply chain partners.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with an awareness of programme and budget requirements.
- A practical commitment to health, safety and quality in site delivery.
- Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
