About the Role
Network Plus is recruiting a Water Agent for a permanent role based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, supporting infrastructure projects across the North West. Working as a Site Agent on the existing clean water network for United Utilities, you will oversee the resources needed to deliver a range of schemes. You will provide operational leadership to help ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the client’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and supervise operational teams delivering clean water infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate supply chain partners and allocate resources to support project delivery.
- Lead safe working practices and maintain a strong focus on health and safety across site activities.
- Monitor progress against programme requirements and address issues that could affect completion.
- Manage delivery within agreed budgets while maintaining the required standards of work.
- Communicate with the client, site teams and supply chain partners to keep activities aligned with project expectations.
What You'll Need
- Relevant experience in site supervision or management within water, utilities or infrastructure projects.
- An understanding of clean water network works and the operational requirements of site delivery.
- The ability to lead operational teams and coordinate supply chain partners effectively.
- A strong understanding of site health and safety and a commitment to safe working.
- Planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage resources, programmes and budgets.
- Clear communication skills and a practical approach to resolving delivery challenges.
