About the Role
Octane Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a permanent position at a successful main dealership in Stafford, Staffordshire. You will join a busy workshop offering strong support and recognition for your work. This role offers a basic salary of £34,000–£36,000, with on-target earnings of £45,000, an uncapped bonus and paid overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and identify appropriate repairs.
- Complete vehicle inspections and checks to ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and any further repairs required.
- Work closely with workshop colleagues to keep jobs progressing efficiently.
- Follow workshop health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy working area.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and practical problem-solving skills.
- A careful approach to quality, safety and record-keeping.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team.
- Availability to work the stated weekday hours and Saturday rota.
