About the Role
Join Halfords as a full-time Vehicle Technician, carrying out automotive servicing, maintenance and repairs. Although advertised in the Southampton area, this position is based at the Lymington Autocentre and involves working five days a week. You’ll bring your existing technical skills to the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance to a high standard.
- Identify vehicle faults and undertake appropriate repairs.
- Complete safety checks and ensure work meets relevant quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing and repair work.
- Work with colleagues to keep the workshop safe, organised and efficient.
What You'll Need
- Practical experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong skills in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair.
- A methodical approach to diagnosing faults and solving technical problems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team.
- Availability to work five days a week at the Lymington Autocentre.
