Nuffield Garage is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join its small, friendly independent workshop in Ewelme, near Wallingford, Oxfordshire. This permanent role suits someone who takes pride in their work and values high-quality, honest and personal customer service. The workshop specialises in vehicles from manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen and Audi.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and identify appropriate repairs.
- Conduct MOT tests in line with current requirements and testing standards.
- Record work completed and communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly.
- Work closely with colleagues to support an efficient, safe and tidy workshop.
- Help maintain the garage’s reputation for honest advice and personal service.
What You'll Need
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician, with strong servicing and repair skills.
- MOT testing experience and the appropriate authorisation to carry out tests.
- A methodical approach to fault-finding and attention to detail.
