About the Role
Forge Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a permanent Vehicle Technician - MOT Tester role in Watchet, Somerset. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a variety of cars and light commercial vehicles. This role suits an experienced technician who is confident in diagnostics and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repairs.
- Complete mechanical repairs to a high standard.
- Work independently and alongside colleagues to complete workshop tasks.
- Keep the workshop safe, clean and organised.
What You'll Need
- Three years’ experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or Technician.
- Confidence in mechanical repairs, diagnostics and fault finding.
- A reliable, hardworking and self-motivated approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Your own tools.
- A full UK driving licence.
