About the Role
Octane Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy and growing independent garage in Barnet, Hertfordshire. This permanent role offers the opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit team. With working hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and no weekends, it is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a genuine work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and identify appropriate repairs.
- Complete vehicle inspections and checks to ensure work is carried out safely.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and any additional issues identified.
- Work closely with colleagues to support the smooth running of a busy workshop.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair procedures.
- A methodical approach to diagnosing faults and solving problems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe, quality workmanship.
