About the Role
F1 Personnel is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Recovery Driver on behalf of a well-established local company providing roadside assistance, vehicle recovery and repair services. Based in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, this permanent role involves helping drivers and recovering vehicles safely. Various shift patterns are available, including 09:00–21:00 and 12:00–00:00, with immediate interviews and starts available.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend vehicle recovery and roadside assistance call-outs.
- Safely load, secure, transport and unload vehicles using appropriate recovery equipment.
- Provide a professional and reassuring service to motorists.
- Carry out vehicle and equipment checks and report faults or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate recovery records and communicate progress to the coordinating team.
- Follow road safety requirements and safe working procedures throughout each recovery.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Recovery Driver.
- A valid driving licence covering 7.5-tonne vehicles or above.
- Confidence using vehicle recovery equipment and securing vehicles for transport.
- A safety-conscious approach to roadside work and driving.
- Good communication skills and a professional manner with customers.
- Flexibility to work the available shifts, including evenings and finishes at midnight.

- Advertised salary of £40,000, with stated on-target earnings of £38,000–£43,000 depending on hours worked.
