Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales opportunities for roofing and waterproofing systems across the relevant customer base.
- Build and maintain relationships with national and independent merchants, roofing contractors and subcontractors.
- Provide technical sales guidance, helping customers identify products suited to their roofing and waterproofing requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities while developing existing accounts.
- Manage a sales pipeline, follow up enquiries and prepare proposals for prospective customers.
- Keep up to date with developments in roofing products, waterproofing membranes and building envelope solutions.
What You'll Need
- Technical sales, area sales or business development experience within roofing, waterproofing or a related construction products market.
- Knowledge of roofing and waterproofing applications, such as flat roofing, liquid-applied systems or waterproofing membranes.
- An understanding of merchant and contractor sales channels.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain technical product information clearly.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and progressing sales enquiries.
- Good organisational skills to manage customer accounts and competing priorities.
