About the Role
Destination Education Limited is recruiting enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistants for mainstream and special educational needs (SEN) schools in Maldon and the surrounding areas. You will support pupils with their learning and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Opportunities include full-time and part-time work, with contract and permanent roles available across the vacancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with classroom activities and day-to-day learning.
- Help pupils engage with tasks, both individually and in small groups.
- Adapt your support to pupils’ different learning needs, including SEN where relevant.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in school life.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
What You'll Need
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
- A commitment to helping pupils learn and develop their independence.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a school team.
- Flexibility to support different pupils and classroom settings.
- An interest in mainstream or SEN education; applications are welcomed from experienced Teaching Assistants, aspiring teachers and recent graduates.
