About the Role
Outcomes First Group is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join Underley Garden School in Kirkby Lonsdale, LA6 2DZ, near Carnforth, Lancashire. This permanent, term-time-only role offers the opportunity to support young people’s learning and help them build confidence. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 4.00pm, with a planned start in January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and engaging pupils in learning activities.
- Help young people access classroom tasks and develop their confidence.
- Assist with preparing learning materials and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation and independence throughout the school day.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils’ wellbeing and follow school safeguarding procedures.
