We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team across Liverpool and the Wirral, supporting children, young people and adults with a range of needs. We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced individuals who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support.The RoleAs a Support Worker/HCA, you will provide practical, emotional and personal support to individuals, helping them to live as independently as possible and achieve their personal goals.Depending on the service, your responsibilities may include:Providing person-centred care and supportSupporting individuals with daily living activitiesWorking with people with autism, learning difficulties and complex needsSupporting young people transitioning from care and those in leaving-care servicesSupporting adults in supported living environmentsPromoting independence, dignity and choiceFollowing individual care and support plansSupporting with personal care where requiredMaintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriatelyWorking collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionalsFollowing safeguarding, health & safety and company proceduresEssential RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience working in health and social care/support workExperience supporting children and/or adults with additional or complex needsA caring, patient and professional approachGood communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA DBS on the Update Service, or be willing and eligible to obtain a new DBSFull rights to work in the UK on a full-time basisFlexibility to work shifts, including weekends where requiredDrivingA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential.
