About the Role
Join RAC as a full-time Superflex Roadside Mechanic in Highbury, North London, helping motorists get moving again. You’ll bring practical mechanical skills and a flexible approach to a roadside role where each day can present different challenges. You’ll work an average of 40 hours per week across the year, receiving your roster seven days in advance.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults.
- Carry out appropriate roadside repairs safely and efficiently.
- Explain faults and next steps clearly to motorists, providing reassurance during breakdowns.
- Help arrange further assistance where a vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside.
- Adapt to changing schedules and service demands as part of the Superflex role.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and follow safe working procedures.
What You'll Need
- Practical vehicle maintenance and repair experience, with strong fault-finding skills.

- A basic salary of £55,869, inclusive of London Weighting Allowance where applicable.
