About the Role

This fast-growing technology company specialises in connected home automation systems and is expanding its product portfolio and market presence. In this permanent role, you will lead a team of up to eight software and firmware engineers, combining hands-on technical expertise with people leadership and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the software engineering function, supporting the development of connected home automation products.
- Manage and mentor a team of up to eight software and firmware engineers.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and help the team resolve engineering challenges.
- Shape software engineering priorities to support the expanding product portfolio.
- Promote effective development practices, technical quality and collaboration across the team.
