About the Role
Focus Resourcing Group is recruiting an experienced Smart Metering Supervisor for a contract role overseeing full turnkey smart metering works from planning through to completion. You will help ensure work is delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently, supervising field teams and coordinating with planning, street works and operational teams. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise field teams delivering excavation, meter installation, backfill and reinstatement works.
- Oversee smart metering activities from initial planning through to completion.
- Monitor site safety, compliance and workmanship throughout delivery.
- Coordinate with planning, street works and operational teams to support efficient scheduling and site readiness.
- Track progress, address operational issues and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Check completed works and support accurate reporting and handover.
What You'll Need
- Experience supervising full turnkey smart metering or closely related utility works.
- A sound understanding of excavation, meter installation, backfill and reinstatement processes.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements and compliance in a street works environment.
- Strong team supervision, communication and coordination skills.
- The ability to manage site priorities and resolve delivery issues effectively.
- Availability to work 10-hour days and attend the required operational locations.
