We're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a critical Defence project in London.
This is a hands-on role covering application support, systems administration, production databases and backend infrastructure, working closely with an existing on-site engineer.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and support multiple production databases, including MSSQL. - Provide 1st-3rd line support and troubleshoot application/system issues. - Administer Linux and Windows production environments. - Support BAU and backend infrastructure activities. - Automate infrastructure using IaC and scripting. - Deploy and support production services and client IT systems. xrexnqw - Work directly with technical teams and end users.
Essential Experience - Existing UK DV clearance - essential - Strong MSSQL administration experience - Production Linux administration - Infrastructure as Code, ideally Ansible - Docker / Docker Compose - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
