Location: Dundee / Site Based Salary: £60,000-£65,000 Employment: PermanentWe are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a major utility-scale solar project in the Dundee area.You will take day-to-day responsibility for site delivery, working closely with subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure construction progresses safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.Responsibilities include:Manage daily construction activity across the solar farmCoordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site resourcesMonitor programme, productivity and qualityEnsure works are completed safely and to specificationCarry out site inspections and resolve delivery issuesCoordinate civil, mechanical and electrical activitiesManage site documentation and progress reportingSupport commissioning, defect close-out and handoverMaintain strong relationships across the project teamEssential experience:Recent utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV experienceProven site management experience on major construction projectsStrong subcontractor coordination experienceStrong understanding of HSE and construction site standardsCivil, electrical or mechanical construction/engineering backgroundUK driving licenceQualifications / certifications:SMSTSBlack CSCS or Black ECS Card3-day First Aid certificationNVQ Level 6+ in Construction Management or relevant Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification preferredCandidates with significant relevant solar experience who are actively progressing towards NVQ Level 6 / Black Card may also be considered.TWC / Temporary Works Coordinator experience or qualification would be advantageous.Experience within civils, roads, foundations, drainage or structural packages would be particularly useful. xrexnqw This is a permanent position, so candidates should be comfortable travelling to future UK project locations when required.
