About the Role
Consortium Professional Recruitment is recruiting a Shift Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in the Hull and East Yorkshire area. This permanent role offers the opportunity to use your mechanical and electrical maintenance skills in a fast-paced process manufacturing environment. Working rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, you will help maintain safe, reliable equipment and support production continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing plant and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
- Support equipment reliability through effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Work closely with production colleagues to prioritise maintenance requirements.
- Follow safe working procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records and shift handovers.
What You'll Need
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience with strong electrical capabilities.
- Practical mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
- Experience in a process manufacturing or comparable industrial environment.
- A safety-focused approach and the ability to respond effectively to breakdowns.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with maintenance and production teams.
- Availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
