The salary range reflects your level of experience.
This is a workshop-based role working on premium equipment to manufacturer standards. 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday — the occasional early start around exhibition deadlines, but no call-out rota.
How we work We're a small team, and the people doing the job have a real say in how it's done. If something's inefficient or a process could work better, we'd rather hear it than have you work around it. You'd raise it with the operations manager or the MD directly — no tickets, no committee, and usually an answer or implemented strategy the same week.
Key responsibilities Service, diagnose, repair and refurbish commercial catering equipment Fault-finding on both gas and electrical systems Testing and commissioning in line with manufacturer standards Recording work, test readings and photographs in our job system as you go Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship Working primarily within the Peterborough workshop and warehouse
