About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a passionate Senior Nursery Room Leader to help give children the best start in life. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room, creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Support and guide colleagues in delivering consistent, high-quality care and learning experiences.
- Plan and oversee age-appropriate activities that reflect children’s interests and developmental needs.
- Monitor children’s progress and use observations to support their next steps in learning.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, sharing updates on children’s wellbeing and development.
- Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery standards throughout daily practice.
What You'll Need
- Experience in an early years setting, with the confidence to lead a room and support a team.
- A relevant early years qualification appropriate to a senior room leadership role.
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and a strong commitment to children’s welfare.
- Clear communication skills and a warm, collaborative approach to working with families and colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for helping establish a positive environment in a new nursery.
