About the Role
Sky is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, Corporate to play a pivotal role within its UK&I Legal Team, based in Isleworth, West London. Reporting to the Group Director of Legal (Sport, Connectivity & Other Strategic Partnerships), you will provide trusted legal advice on corporate matters and support commercial decision-making. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make your mark at a leading media and entertainment brand serving 24 million customers across seven countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice on corporate matters affecting the business.
- Support the legal aspects of corporate projects and strategic business initiatives.
- Review, draft and negotiate legal documentation, balancing business objectives with legal risk.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the UK&I business and legal team.
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical approaches to managing them.
What You'll Need
- A relevant legal qualification and substantial corporate legal experience suited to a senior counsel role.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical advice.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- The confidence to act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
