About the Role
Outcomes First Group is seeking an SEN Teacher to join Underley Garden School in Kirkby Lonsdale, near Carnforth, Lancashire, from September 2026. You will create an engaging, inclusive classroom where every pupil feels safe, valued and motivated to learn. This permanent, term-time-only role offers the opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs within an organisation that values a better work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ individual learning needs.
- Create a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches and resources to help pupils access learning.
- Monitor pupils’ progress and use observations and assessment to inform teaching.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding responsibilities.

What's on Offer
- A salary of £41,000 per annum, not pro rata.
- A travel allowance.
- A permanent, term-time-only contract.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8.00am to 4.00pm.
- A planned start in September 2026.
