About the Role
Outcomes First Group is looking for an SEN Teacher to join Park School in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, OX7 5QH, starting in October 2026. You will support pupils with special educational needs, adapting your teaching to help them engage in learning and fulfil their potential. This is a permanent, term-time-only position with an organisation that values work–life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ individual learning needs.
- Adapt teaching approaches and resources to support pupils with special educational needs.
- Assess pupils’ progress and use this information to inform future teaching.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support pupils’ development.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and follow school policies.
What You'll Need
- Teaching knowledge and skills suited to supporting pupils with special educational needs.
- An understanding of how to adapt lessons for different abilities and learning needs.
- A patient, flexible and supportive approach to classroom practice.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and families.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
- To be a UK-based applicant with the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available for this role.
What's on Offer
- Salary of up to £43,000 per annum, dependent on experience and not pro rata.
- A permanent, term-time-only contract.
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with stated working hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm.
