About the Role
Simply Education is recruiting a permanent, full-time Maths Teacher for a successful grammar school in Medway, Kent. You will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5, working with motivated students as part of an established Maths department. The start date is to be agreed.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3–KS5.
- Challenge and support students to develop their mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Assess students’ work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs and maintain high expectations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Maths department to share resources and support effective teaching.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding responsibilities.
What You'll Need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK teaching qualification.
- Strong Mathematics subject knowledge and the ability to teach across KS3–KS5.
- The ability to deliver challenging, engaging lessons in a grammar school setting.
- Effective classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to students’ progress and wellbeing.
