About the Role
Aviva is seeking an RTA Non Portal Fast-Track Litigation Handler to join its team in Leeds, West Yorkshire, on a full-time basis. You will manage your own caseload of non-portal road traffic accident personal injury claims, helping clients achieve the right outcome. This role offers a supportive, customer-focused environment and a 50% hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of non-portal RTA personal injury claims within the fast-track litigation process.
- Progress litigated claims, keeping cases on track and meeting relevant procedural deadlines.
- Assess claim information and supporting evidence to inform case handling decisions.
- Negotiate settlements with a focus on achieving appropriate outcomes for clients.
- Maintain clear case records and communicate progress to clients and relevant parties.
What You'll Need
- Experience handling non-portal RTA personal injury claims, gained in a law firm, insurer or similar setting.
- Confidence progressing litigated claims and an understanding of the fast-track litigation process.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to assess settlement options.
- The organisational skills to manage your own caseload and competing deadlines.
- A customer-focused approach, clear communication skills and a willingness to support colleagues.
