About the job Aveni is redefining how financial institutions use AI. We build real, production-ready agentic systems that reshape how banks, advisers and financial services firms operate, replacing fragmented processes with intelligent, end-to-end workflows. We've been recognised as Fintech of the Year for two consecutive years and awarded Best Specialist Technology Service at the Professional Adviser Awards 2025. Backed by leading investors and commercially supported by major financial institutions, we're scaling quickly as adoption of AI in financial services accelerates. Our Wealth platform helps financial advice firms transform how advisers and paraplanners work, using AI to automate documentation, improve compliance and streamline client servicing. From meeting summaries and document generation to compliance file checking and workflow automation, we're helping firms deliver a better experience for both advisers and their clients. We're looking for a Product Manager – Wealth to lead the evolution of Aveni Assist, our flagship AI-powered platform for financial advice firms. The role This role is responsible for the strategy, roadmap and delivery of Aveni Assist, driving its continued evolution across core adviser workflows including meeting summaries, document generation, Letters of Authority, fact finds and compliance file checking. Unlike an early-stage product, Aveni Assist already has an established customer base and a strong market presence. Your focus will be on scaling the product through continuous improvement—enhancing customer workflows, increasing adoption and satisfaction, and delivering measurable value that drives retention and growth. This is a hands-on, high-ownership product role. You'll work closely with the Head of Product (Wealth) on product strategy while independently leading customer discovery, roadmap prioritisation, delivery and release planning. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Design, Customer Success and Commercial teams to ensure we're solving the right problems and delivering the highest-value outcomes. We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding complex customer needs, making evidence-based decisions and building products that customers genuinely value. What you'll be doing You'll own the Aveni Assist roadmap end-to-end, balancing investment between new capabilities, product quality and platform improvements to maximise customer and commercial impact. You'll lead continuous discovery with advisers, paraplanners, compliance teams and prospects, building a deep understanding of customer workflows and translating insight into product decisions. You'll rapidly validate ideas using prototypes, customer research and experimentation, reducing delivery risk before committing engineering effort. You'll own beta programmes for new capabilities, working closely with customers to gather structured feedback and determine when features are ready for general release. You'll partner closely with Engineering and Design to translate strategy into clear delivery plans, maintaining a healthy backlog and ensuring features are released with a high standard of quality. You'll build strong relationships across Engineering, Customer Success, Commercial and Marketing, acting as a trusted voice for the product and ensuring customer insight informs decision-making across the business. You'll use customer feedback, usage analytics and product metrics to guide prioritisation, measure success and continually improve the product. You'll stay informed about industry trends, adviser technology, AI developments and FCA regulation, ensuring Aveni Assist continues to lead the market. What we're looking for We're looking for someone with a proven track record as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally with experience scaling an established product by improving customer satisfaction, adoption and retention. You'll have demonstrable experience leading customer discovery, translating customer insight into product decisions and working closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality software. You'll have excellent product judgement, strong communication skills and the confidence to make difficult prioritisation decisions, balancing customer needs with commercial objectives. You'll be analytically rigorous, comfortable using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, and capable of building trusted relationships across technical and commercial teams. We're particularly interested in people who are proactive, self-directed and passionate about improving products through continuous iteration and customer feedback. Nice to have Experience with AI-powered products or machine learning technologies would be valuable, as would experience within financial services, wealth management or other regulated industries. Knowledge of FCA Consumer Duty, adviser technology platforms or wealth management workflows would be advantageous, but isn't essential. Experience running beta programmes, defining quality standards for AI-generated outputs or contributing to go-to-market activities would also be beneficial. Why join Aveni? You’ll work on genuinely difficult and meaningful problems at the intersection of AI, regulation and financial services. You’ll help shape a product category that is becoming increasingly important as financial institutions move from experimenting with AI to deploying it safely, responsibly and at scale. You’ll have real ownership, visibility and the opportunity to influence both product direction and market positioning at an important stage of Aveni’s growth. Benefits at Aveni What you’ll love: Remote-first working across the UK Company-wide offsites and regular in-person gatherings Work abroad policy Optional Personal Development Plan Flexible benefits platform, so you can choose the benefits that matter most to you Life insurance, income protection, critical illness cover and pension, with up to 5% matched employer contribution Private health and dental care At Aveni, we believe diversity drives innovation. If you’re passionate about technology and its ability to drive positive change for the future of financial services, we’d love to hear from you. Even if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we’d still encourage you to apply if you believe you’d be a great fit.
