Product Manager – Assurance Help Shape the Future of AI Assurance in Financial Services Aveni is redefining how financial institutions use AI. We build production-ready agentic systems that reshape how banks, advisers, and financial services firms operate, replacing fragmented processes with intelligent, end-to-end workflows. Recognized as Fintech of the Year for two consecutive years and awarded Best Specialist Technology Service at the Professional Adviser Awards 2025, we are backed by leading investors and supported by major financial institutions as we scale rapidly amid accelerating AI adoption in financial services. Our platform enables some of the UK’s largest financial institutions to deploy AI safely in FCA-regulated environments, powering everything from compliance monitoring to AI-driven adviser guidance. We are seeking a Product Manager – Assurance to play a central role in Aveni’s Assurance portfolio: products that help financial services firms govern, test, and assure AI agents and human interactions across the customer journey. The Role This role is primarily focused on Agent Approve, Aveni’s pre-deployment simulation and testing product, with additional responsibility for Detect, our post-interaction compliance assessment product. Agent Approve is a growth-stage product operating in a dynamic regulatory environment. You will own the product from discovery through commercial readiness, helping define Aveni’s position in an emerging market. This is a hands-on, high-ownership product role. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Assurance Products on strategy and roadmap direction while independently driving discovery, prioritisation, delivery, and go-to-market readiness. You will work with engineering, design, customer success, marketing, and commercial teams to turn complex customer and regulatory problems into clear, valuable, and shippable product outcomes. You are well suited to this role if you enjoy operating in ambiguity, can bring structure to complex problem spaces, and possess the judgement to prioritize effectively, distinguishing what matters, what can wait, and what needs validation before building. What You’ll Be Doing Own the Agent Approve and Detect product roadmaps from problem discovery and opportunity sizing through prioritisation, delivery, and launch readiness. Lead continuous discovery with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders, developing an evidence-based view of market direction and urgent problem areas. Translate ideas and customer problems into low- and high-fidelity prototypes to validate assumptions early, reduce delivery risk, and accelerate decision-making. Collaborate closely with engineering and design to convert strategy into executable delivery plans, maintain a prioritized backlog, and support squads through delivery. Build strong relationships across engineering, commercial, customer success, and marketing, serving as a trusted voice on what we are building, why it matters, and how it supports Aveni's Assurance portfolio. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity in financial services compliance, QA technology, and AI assurance, ensuring product decisions are grounded in market context. Use data and metrics to inform prioritization, define product KPIs, and measure the success of features and capabilities. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally owning a roadmap from discovery to delivery. Domain expertise in financial services, compliance, risk, or regulatory technology, and experience leading stakeholder discovery and translating insights into product strategy. Strong product judgement, clear communication skills, and confidence in shaping problem spaces, defining direction, defending prioritization decisions, and explaining trade-offs to diverse audiences. Analytical rigor, comfort using data to guide decisions, and ability to build trusted relationships with engineers, designers, and senior commercial stakeholders. Self-directed, proactive individuals comfortable in early-stage or ambiguous product environments where the path is not fully defined. Nice to Have Experience with AI-powered products, analytics, or model-driven tooling; familiarity with FCA regulatory frameworks, Consumer Duty, or conduct risk. Exposure to pre-deployment testing, quality assurance, or compliance workflows. Experience writing compelling product narratives for commercial or go-to-market purposes, especially relevant for the growth-stage nature of Agent Approve. Why Join Aveni? You will work on complex and meaningful challenges at the intersection of AI, regulation, and financial services. You will help shape a product category that is growing in importance as financial institutions move from experimenting with AI to deploying it safely, responsibly, and at scale. You will have real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to influence both product direction and market positioning during a pivotal stage of Aveni’s growth.
