RainFocus, one of the most innovative software companies, is in search of an exceptional Project Manager. About RainFocus RainFocus cares about its employees, customers, and the world in which we live. Our rapidly growing team serves Fortune 500 companies like Adobe, Cisco, IBM, Oracle, VMware, and others to prepare and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, across the world. We are well-funded, growing fast, and building a company that is changing the market — it will be challenging, fun and exciting. About the Role Strong project management is a key element of client success at RainFocus. Our Project Managers are the driving force behind complex, multi-stakeholder event technology implementations — owning client relationships, leading cross-functional project teams, and ensuring every engagement moves forward with clarity and momentum. This is a pure project management role. You will not be responsible for any platform configuration or technical build work — that is handled by your team of dedicated solution consultants and architects. Your focus is entirely on leadership: managing timelines and risks, building strong client relationships, aligning stakeholders, and driving successful outcomes across a portfolio of concurrent projects. Our clients are sophisticated, high-touch, and deeply invested in their events. That means you will be in daily communication across multiple channels, navigating scope conversations, managing competing priorities, and keeping complex projects on track even when requirements shift. It also means this work is genuinely meaningful — you will own the client relationship and see the direct impact of your leadership at every event. Our Project Managers typically manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, with project cycles averaging 9–12 months. You will also take on projects mid-lifecycle as part of normal portfolio management — experience navigating mid-flight transitions is a strong asset. This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States. Average travel is up to 15%, averaging 5–7 days per trip. Travel primarily involves being onsite at client events, which may include weekends, as well as post-event reviews and client-driven meetings.
