About the Role
Priory Hospital Bristol is looking for two Registered Psychologists to support patients across its Acute Wards and Rehab & Recovery services in Eastville, Bristol. These part-time opportunities comprise an Acute Ward role working 30 hours per week and a Rehab & Recovery role working 15 hours per week. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide psychological support tailored to patients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake psychological assessments to understand patients’ needs and inform their care.
- Develop and deliver psychological interventions appropriate to the Acute Ward or Rehab & Recovery setting.
- Contribute psychological expertise to multidisciplinary care planning and reviews.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adapt psychological support as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and practise in line with professional, safeguarding and confidentiality standards.
What You'll Need
- A recognised professional qualification in psychology and current HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
- The ability to assess psychological needs and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- An understanding of mental health care relevant to acute inpatient or rehabilitation and recovery services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A compassionate, patient-centred approach and a commitment to safe, ethical practice.

- Acute Ward position: 30 hours per week, with an annual salary of £37,453, pro rata to £46,816 full-time equivalent.
- Rehab & Recovery position: 15 hours per week, with an annual salary of £18,726, pro rata to £46,816 full-time equivalent.
