About the Role
Care Concern Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) to join Avon Court Care Home in Chippenham, Wiltshire, on a contract basis, working 33 hours per week. This 56-bed home provides nursing and residential care in a warm and welcoming environment. You will work alongside colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and make a meaningful difference to residents’ daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care that reflects each resident’s needs and preferences.
- Assess residents’ care needs and contribute to developing and reviewing individual care plans.
- Administer medicines safely and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, responding promptly to changes and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with care colleagues, healthcare professionals and residents’ families to support continuity of care.
- Uphold residents’ dignity, independence and choice while following safeguarding and infection prevention procedures.
What You'll Need
- A Registered General Nurse qualification and current NMC registration.
- Sound clinical judgement and a commitment to safe nursing practice.
- A compassionate, respectful approach to supporting people in a care home setting.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Good organisational skills, with attention to accurate record-keeping and care planning.
- An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and person-centred care.
