About the Role
Happy Recruits is recruiting a Production Planner on behalf of an established and growing food manufacturing business in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. This newly created, permanent role has arisen through continued growth. You will work closely with the Production Manager to plan and schedule production, supporting efficient and optimised manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production to make effective use of manufacturing capacity and resources.
- Work with the Production Manager to align production plans with operational priorities.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to reflect changing requirements.
- Communicate production schedules and changes clearly to relevant colleagues.
- Identify planning constraints and support improvements to production efficiency.
What You'll Need
- Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- An understanding of production processes, ideally within food manufacturing.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A practical, analytical approach to solving scheduling problems.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with production colleagues.
