About the Role
Niyaa People is recruiting an experienced Plasterer to join a well-established contractor working across Daventry, Northamptonshire. You will carry out repairs and maintenance in occupied and void social housing properties. This ongoing temporary contract offers regular work within a busy team focused on high-quality plastering repairs and property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering repairs and maintenance in domestic social housing properties.
- Prepare surfaces and complete plastering work to a high standard.
- Work in both occupied homes and void properties across Daventry.
- Protect surrounding surfaces and keep work areas clean and safe.
- Work considerately around residents and coordinate with the wider maintenance team.
- Follow relevant health and safety procedures throughout each job.
What You'll Need
- Experience as a Plasterer, with strong practical repair and finishing skills.
- The ability to assess and prepare surfaces for plastering work.
- A careful approach to delivering consistent, high-quality finishes.
- A professional and respectful manner when working in residents’ homes.
- Good awareness of safe working practices in domestic properties.
- The ability to travel between properties across Daventry.
