About the Role
ISP School in Whitstable, Kent, is seeking a passionate and dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant, also known as a Progress Engagement Guide (PEG). You will support a pupil’s engagement with learning, working alongside teaching staff to help them make progress. This is a part-time, term-time-only, fixed-term role, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to help a pupil access learning and participate in school activities.
- Work with teaching staff to adapt activities and resources to individual learning needs.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive engagement in the classroom.
- Observe progress and share relevant feedback with the teaching team.
- Help maintain a safe, supportive learning environment, following school safeguarding policies.
