About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Nursery Room Leader to join its team in Sheldon, Birmingham, West Midlands, on a full-time basis. You will oversee multiple rooms, helping to ensure educational strategies are consistently integrated across the nursery. This leadership role offers the opportunity to inspire colleagues and support high standards of care and learning for every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day practice across multiple nursery rooms, supporting consistent standards of care.
- Lead and encourage colleagues to deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Help embed the nursery’s educational strategies into daily activities and routines.
- Support a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can learn and develop.
- Work closely with colleagues and families to support children’s individual needs.
- Promote safeguarding and good practice throughout the rooms you oversee.
What You'll Need
- Experience in an early years setting and the ability to support and guide a nursery team.
- A sound understanding of children’s development and early years learning.
- A commitment to safeguarding, children’s wellbeing and high-quality care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and families.
- Good organisational skills to coordinate activities and priorities across multiple rooms.
