About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Sevenoaks, Kent, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help foster children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a nurturing nursery environment. You will join a team committed to high-quality early education and giving every child the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play.
- Support children’s individual needs and encourage their confidence, independence and social skills.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to planning their next steps in learning.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment, following safeguarding and nursery procedures.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues to support each child’s development.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education.
- An understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- A caring, patient approach and a commitment to high-quality early education.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the importance of children’s wellbeing.
