About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Wanstead, East London, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will support children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a nurturing nursery environment. You will help deliver high-quality early years education, giving every child the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel secure and valued.
- Observe children’s progress and use your observations to help shape their next steps in learning.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, sharing updates about their child’s development.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and early years education.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures, supporting children’s wellbeing throughout the day.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education.
- An understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- A caring, patient approach and a commitment to helping every child thrive.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and safe working practices in a nursery setting.
