About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Inverness, Highland, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help nurture children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a caring nursery environment. You will support high-quality early years education and help give every child the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel confident to explore and learn.
- Observe children’s progress and use your observations to support their individual needs.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, sharing information about children’s experiences and development.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care and education.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures in everyday practice.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in early years or childcare.
- An understanding of young children’s learning, development and care needs.
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families and colleagues.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high-quality early years practice.
