About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a caring, enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its Chingford nursery team in Highams Park, East London. In this full-time role, you’ll help young children learn, grow and thrive in a nurturing early years environment. You’ll support their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development through engaging play and positive everyday interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate play and activities.
- Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- Build positive relationships with children, responding sensitively to their individual needs.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to planning experiences that support their next steps.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate with parents and carers about children’s wellbeing and development.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures throughout daily nursery routines.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in early years or childcare.
- A caring, enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for helping young children thrive.
- An understanding of early years development and learning through play.
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and the importance of children’s wellbeing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a nursery team.
- A commitment to inclusive care that recognises each child’s individual needs.
