About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children’s intellectual, social and emotional development. You will help give every child the best start in life within a nursery group that values high-quality education and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can explore and build confidence.
- Observe children’s progress and use your observations to help meet their individual needs.
- Support children’s daily care routines, wellbeing and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures to promote children’s welfare.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in early years education or childcare.
- An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development.
- A caring, patient approach and a commitment to high-quality early years education.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and safe childcare practice.
