About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Weymouth, Dorset, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help foster children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a nurturing nursery environment. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
- Support children’s individual learning, development and emotional wellbeing.
- Observe children’s progress and use your observations to inform their next steps.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment, following safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues to support consistent care.
- Support children with daily routines, encouraging confidence and independence.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in early years education or childcare.
- An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how young children learn.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
- A caring, patient and inclusive approach to supporting individual needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a nursery team.
- Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality childcare and developing your professional practice.
