About the Role
Busy Bees is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Darlington, County Durham, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help foster children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a nurturing nursery environment. You will join a nursery group committed to high-quality early education and giving every child the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can explore and build confidence.
- Observe children’s progress and use your observations to support their individual needs.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, sharing updates on children’s experiences and development.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and early years education.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in early years education or childcare.
- An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and children’s developmental needs.
- A caring, patient approach and enthusiasm for helping young children thrive.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents and carers.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and providing high-quality care.
