About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Ashford, Kent, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help foster children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a nurturing nursery environment. This role could be based in the Baby Room, with opportunities also available in other rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and early education that supports each child’s development.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate play and learning activities.
- Observe children’s progress and adapt activities to their individual needs and interests.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures throughout daily nursery routines.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in early years or childcare.
- An understanding of early childhood development and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- A caring, patient approach that puts children’s wellbeing first.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a nursery team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and delivering high-quality early education.
- Flexibility to support children across different nursery rooms and age groups.
