About the Role
Busy Bees is looking for a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join its team in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on a full-time basis. As an Early Years Educator, you will help nurture children’s intellectual, social and emotional development in a caring nursery environment. You will join a nursery group that values high-quality early years education and is dedicated to giving every child the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate play and activities.
- Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to planning activities that meet their individual needs.
- Support daily care routines, promoting children’s wellbeing and growing independence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures to help keep children safe.
What You'll Need
- A relevant Level 2 qualification in early years or childcare.
- An understanding of young children’s learning, development and care needs.
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high-quality early years education.
- A willingness to learn and develop your professional practice.
